WARFARE m HONAN,
Marek 13,
The forces of Chang Tso-lin fought a fierce night-long battle in a heavy snowstorm against semi-independent Honanites at Hangchuang; between Kaifeng and Chengchow. The Chang Tso-lin army materially advanced, holding the railway station at Chung-Wa-Hslefi. Further progress is likely to be checked by delay in the arrival of reinforcements from Mukden, where the worst snowstorm for forty years is interrupting communications. —(A. and N.Z.).
