KING’S MEDAL MATCH.
WON BY LIEUT. DENTON. NAVAL MEN SHOOT WELL. TRENTHAM, March 11. The King’s Medal Match, the final event of the New Zealand Army Rifle Association’s meeting, was fired under perfect conditions yesterday. The medal was won by Lieut. T. J. Denton, of Christchurch, with an aggregate of 145 for the four practices. Two Navy men actually headed the list, but they were not eligible to take the King’s Medal. The complete prize list is as follows:—
