PRIMARY EDUCATION.

MEETING OF CENTRAL SCHOOL COMMITTEE. The monthly meeting of the Masterton Central School Committee was held last evening, Mr. J. E. MeV. Calwell presiding. There were also present: Messrs. W. R. Nicol, R. Russell, A. Williams, -G. L. Scrivener, C. Braggins and G. Masters. The secretary presented the annual balance sheet and was directed to forward it to the Education Board for audit. A letter was received from the board in regard to the domestic science room advising that instructions would- be forwarded to the instructress.

The secretary was directed to write Mrs. Robinson, of Lansdowne, for tho specimen of a double-headed calf presented by her to the school museum. Mr. Russell was deputed to get the coin case in the museum repaired.
