MASTERTON CLUB. FINAL EVENTS OF THE SEASdN. The Masterton Swimming Club concluded its weekly events last evening before a fair attendance of spectators. The swimmers were in good 'form and some exciting races were witnessed. Following are the results:— 1 Junior Boys 50 Yards Handicap.—D. Noble (Isec) 1, P. Brown (4sec) 2, G. Orr (scr.) 3. Junior boys 25 yards handicap: N. Brown (3sec) 1, G. Orr (scr.) 2, M. Bacon (Isec) 3. Time, 20 4-ssee. Won by a foot. Ladies 50 yards handicap: Miss N. Wallace (scr.) 1, Miss R. Hart (lOsee) 2. Ladies’ 25 yards handicap: Miss B. Hart (4soc) 1, Miss N. Wallace (scr.) 2. Intermediate boys’ 75 yards handicap: J. Barnes (3sec) 1, K. McArtney (scr.) 2, R. Devine (3sec) 3. Time, 60 4-ssec. Won by a touch. Boys’ dive: R. Barnes (22pts) 1, D. Noble (21pts) 2, K. McArtney (20pts)

Men’s 50 yards handicap: L. McGregor (4sec) 1, D. Welch (2see) 2, R. D. Horne (scr.) 3. Time, 33 l-ssee. Won by a yard. Men’s 100 yards handicap: J. Gardner (ser.) 1, R. Horne (scr.) 2, J. L. Williams (7see) 3. Time, 76 l-ssec. Won by a touch.
The following are the aggregate winners for last month: —Junior boys, N. Brown, G. Orr and D. Noble, 6 points, 1. Ladies, Miss R. Hart 14 pts 1, Miss N. Wallaee, 12pts, 2. Intermediate boys, J. Barnes Opts, 1, K. McArtney 7 pts 2. Senior, R. D. Horne 7pts 1, J. Gardner 6pts 2. The R. A. Rose medal, for the season’s aggregate was won by R. D. Horne (15 points) with J. L. Williams (14 points) second.
The committee have decided to close the baths for night bathing for the present season.
