BOWLING.
NEW SOUTH WALES VISIT. WIN FOR MASTERTON CLUB. The members of the New South Wales touring bowling team played a friendly match against the Masterton Bowling Club members yesterday, the home rinks being reinforced with a few players from the Park Club. The local players were successful in winning four rinks, while the fifth was drawn. The aggregate score was: Masterton 104; New South Wales 83. While the match was in progress the lady members of the party were motored by the wives of local bowlers to the Whatman Home and the Solway Showgrounds, an outing which was .greatly appreciated. Following are the detailed results, the Masterton players being mentioned first:—
