WOODVILLE SALE.
Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report on tho Woodville sale:—We offered approximately 1500 sheep of all classes and a small yarding of cattle to a fair attendance. The sale was lifeless throughout, aged sheep especiallymeeting with a dull demand. We made practically a total clearance at the following prices:—Two-tooth ewes 22/- to 26/4, small do. 18/-; 4-tooth ewes, 26/2; 6-tooth ewes, 21/6; 4 and 5-year ewes, 12/6 to 14/-; cull ewes, 5/- to 7/-; 2tooth wethers, 18/6 to 20/-; w.f. lambs, 12/6 to 15/-, small do. 7/- to 8/-; b.f. lambs 15/6 to 17/4, small do 8/- to 10/-; fat cows £4 7/6; heifer calves, 25/- to 27/-; weaner pigs, 10/- to 12/6; slips, 16/- to 18/-; porkers, 23/6 to 25/-.
