LETTERS TO THE EDITOR.
THE PRICE OF uKEAP. Sir, —Can you inform me why the local bakers have not reduced the price of bread yet? There have been three drops in the price of flour since they raised the price of bread. Surely the time has now arrived when they should come into line with other towns and reduce the price of the loaf. Can you tell me if there is any reason for them holding up the price?—l am. etc.. 4 ‘FATHER OF LARGE FAMILY.” SCHOOLS AMALGAMATION. Sir, —The P.I.M. Committee intimated that it was considering calling a public dieting after the holidays on the question of amalgamation of Technical and High Schools. As it is both important and urgent that this question should l»e properly considered and rightly dealt with, it is to be hoped that there will be no delay in convening the meeting.—l am, etc., H. C. ROBINSON.
