The American Note.
REMOVAL OF SULTAN,
(By Electrio Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Australian-N.Z. Cable Association.) Received Last Night 7.20 o'clock. WASHINGTON, March 30. President Wilson's Noto to the Allies on the Turkish situation has been published. It declares that tho United States is convinced that no final decision regarding the Straits should bo made without the consent of Russia. The United States cannot sanction any settlement that does not grant American citizens and corporations rights in Turkey on an equality with those of other nations that are parties to the Turkish Treaty. America should bo made independent, with-access to the sea, and Turkey should relinquish Mesopotamia, Arabia, Palestine, and Syria. The Turk should not bo allowed to remain in Europe. The southern part of East Thrace should be given to Greece and the northern part of East Thrace to Bulgaria.
