THE BOROUGH STAFF

PROPOSED REORGANISATION

We learn from an unofficial source that the Masterton Borough Council proposes to sever the positions of Engineer and Town Clerk, allowing Mr James Archer to retain the former position, and appointing Mr T. T. Denbee (the present assistant) to the latter. It is also proposed to do away with the assistant engineer and sanitary inspector, and to make other readjustments of tho staff. The proposals will come up for confirmation at the meeting of the. Council on April 13th.
