THE PRINCE OF WALES
MASTERTON VISIT. The Mayor (Mr W. H. Jackson) has received the following communication from the Hon. Sir Francis Bell, Minister of Internal Affairs, concerning tho visit to Masterton of-His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales:— "In view of the necessity for getting. His Royal Highnesß through to White Rock before dark on Thursday, May 6th, it is, on account of the lateness of the season, now found necessary for the Prince to arrive at Featherston at 12.55 p.irf., and leave not later than 1.5 p.m. that day. This necessarily means an alteration in the time-table arrangement, and I have also to advise that will be necessary to limit His Royal Highness' stay in Masterton to threequarters of an hour. "The Royal train will now arrive in iMasterton at 11.35 a.m., and depart at 12.20 p.m."
