SEVERAL PASSENGERS INJURED. LEVIN, Last Night. In order to climb the Pukerua Saddle, near Plimmerton, on Saturday, the last train to Palmerston was divided at the bottom. When the engine was returning for the second section, its impact with the carriages was so sever as to cause injuries to several passengers. Two of them, Stanley Withers, with severe cuts on the face, and W. Steele, suffering from severe shock, were taken to the Otaki hospital. Withers was discharged yesterday, but Steel is still in the institut--tion.•■•■ The carriages were damaged, and the train delayed for twp hours.
