CORRESPONDENCE
(To the Editor.) Sir,—-Last evening, I was a witness, with several -others, of what seemed to me to be a most callous deed. An individual was travelling south down Queen street in a motor car. On approaching the Post Office, a bulldog was in the centre of the.road. Instead of trying to avoid the animal, the motorist appeared to deliberately run over it. The .street was empty of vehicles, and there was ample room to pass. After the act, the driver of .the 't;ar increased his speed, making it impossible to obtain his number. Now, sir, would it l|e possible to trace this road hog?—l am; etc., CITIZEN.
