THE LATE MR. NATHAN.
It is with very sincere regret that wo record the death of Mr..Daniel J. Nathan, one of the most prominent business men of the Empire City. The deceased had spent many. years in Wellington, and was identified witn every civic that was of a progressive character. He manifested a keen interest in the dairy industry of New Zealand, and did possibly more"l than any other individual to make the by products of milk of considerable value. He had been a director of th% Bank of New Zealand for a number of years, and his influence in political as well as financial circles was very great.
