FIGHT IN A FOREST.
FAMOUS CHIEF DEFEATED
ST. PETERSBURG, Dec. 25
Lieutenant Kibiroff has been placed in hospital at St. Petersburg, and the building has been guarded to prevent revenge from the relatives of Zelim Khan, a famous, Caucasian brigand. Kibiroff, disguised as an escaped Siberian convict, went to Zelim's camp and obtained information which enabled his party months later to surround,, Zelim's hut in the forest. After an all night fight the brigands were killed. It is believed that Zelim's sons are preparing a vendetta.
