Mr Arthur Sims, captain of the New Zealand cricket team of 1905, has-returned from a trip to England. He is now engaged organising an Australian tea'-n to visit New Zealand. He hoped to arrange matches for Christmas and New Year, but found that some of the players he wished to include were unwilling to go until the Sheffield Shield matches are completed. The trip is therefore postponed until the beginning of February. Trumper, Collins, Armstrong, Raneford, and McKenzie applied to accompany the team, and' applications from other leading players are expected. •
