MISSING BABIES FOUND. BURIED IN FOWL HOUSE. (Received Last Night, T. 20 o'clock.) MELBOURNE, December 10. A sensational development has occurred in connection with, the mysterious disappearance of several babies, which had been adopted by Mrs Newman, wfio committed suicide by taking poison at Mordialloc, after detectives had placed her under arrest. The bodies of two infants were unearthed in a fowl house at the woman's residence, - and at least four others are missing. The woman, who some years ago figured as the champion woman runner of Australia, left a. note stating that her husband and children knew nothing. They fnSught she was receiving ten shillings weekly for the children. She added that there was evidence against her, but she was innocent".
