MR WATT TURNS THE TABLES. GOVERNMENT'S DEFEAT ANTICIPATED. (Received this morning 12.50 o'clock.) MELBOURNE, Dec, 1& In the Assembly, Mr Watt ,with' the unanimous support of the Liberals, carried his amendment, refusing the new Ministry an adjournment till January 6th. Mr Watt then gave notice of a motion of want of confidence in the Elmslie Ministry for to-morrow, till which time the House lias adjourned. The Elmslie Government's defeat and his request for a dissolution are anticipated.
