. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Committee of the Wairarapa Amateur Athletic Club was held in Meass3|Gawith and Logan's rooms lasf evening, Mr W. 9. L. Dickson presiding over a fair attendance. A letter was received from the Borough Council, granting' use of Park Oval for evening meetings and training purposes. Mr J. Georgeson wrote, resigning his position as a vice-president of tho chib, owing to his transfer from Master ton. The secretary's action in having already written Mr Georgeson asking; him To retain his position Was confirmed. ! A letter was received from Messrs Thompson and, Payne, offering the club a benefit -'picture performance it waV decided-: tsisvt the offer he accepted! with thanks,:.and that; Messrs* Dickon and Bowman be appointed a «tib-committee to -arrange .with the local manager the date on which the performance will take place. Letters were* received from M&ssrs I). Caselberg and D. Ogilvy acceptmg the positions of vice-president, arid donating the club trophies. Mr B. Mi. Rayner kindly donated n trophy to the club. | Tho following new members were elected: H. Thomas, C. Blackman, A. Dawson, P. Thompson, G. Treader, D. Welch, S. Livingstone, G. Tooby, W. Langley, H. Bromley, W. Angus, S. Pragnell and T. Olliver. Accounts to the amount of £2 2s were passed for payment.
