SYMPATHY WITH THE STRIKERS

The Canterbury Drivers' Union met last night, and decided (1) to give the watersiders all the support, possible, both morally and financially (2) to refuse .to handle any goods loaded or handled from free labour; (3) to pay a voluntary levy to be fixed by '"the executive. Spontaneous subscriptions given in the room totalled. £6 10s. • ,
