STRIKERS FOILED. . DUNEDIN, Last Night, The workmen engaged on the Harbour 'Board's Dredge -104, at, Port Chalmers, who were preparing her for a sea voyage to Melbourne, ceased work on The pi embers of the board's permanent staff were immediately 'instructed- to. take up the work. Tliov wore met, and interviewed by strike pickets, but they stood firm, and work was continued without further difficulty.
