MORE SPECIAL CONSTABLES

FROM R ANGITIKET DISTRICT. MABTON, Last Night. At a meeting called by the Farmer's' Union over a dozen farmers' sons and employees enrolled as special constables for Wellington, together with several labourers. Very short notice was given, and it is fully expected that over 100 will be available by Monday. The Rata Dairy Company has 800 boxes of butter held up. The constables leave for Wellington to-morrow afternoon.
