ST. JOHN AMBULANCE.
RESULTS OF EXAMINATIONS. The following are the results of the St. John Ambulance nursing division examinations in order of ir. erit :-r-Bri-gade re-examination, Miss Gillesipe, Miss Joy, Miss Jarrett; St. John Association medallion, Misses Wallis and McHattie, Mesdames D'Ewes, Flanagan, Banks and Beale; flirst aid certificate, Misses Minifie, C. McKenzie, D. Terry, K. Kitchener, and Black. In connection with the Association examinations, a nurse.'s wallet was presented to the member receiving the highest marks, and was won by Miss Evelyn Minifie with 95 per cent. Miss Wallis was second with 91 per cent., and Miss McHattie third, Dr N. Prior was the examiner. The following squad from the nursing division of St, John Ambulance Brigade will compete at the women's first aid and ho-ne nursing competitions at Wellington on-Labour Day: —No. 1 squad: Mesdames Banks, Flanagan, D'Ewos aud Beale; No. 1 squad: Misses Joy, Wallis, Minifie and Jarrett; emergency, Miss McHattie. Squads from Hawera, Wanganui, Wellington, Palmeraton North, Carterton and Masterton will take part .in the competitions.
