/TWO MEN KILLED
TESTING NEW INVENTION.

In consequence of accidents owing to wires being stretched across the road, a motorist invented a contrivance to remove the obstructions. The invention was twice tested, the experiments proving successful, but a severe trial failed to act and the automobile dashed into a tree, the motorist and chauffeur being killed.
