SOLTANO'S DERBY-FORM

Over the settling of wagers to-day, there was a good deal of talk regarding the difference in Soltano's form in the Derby and the Clibborn Stakes. It was unreservedly recognised that Soltano's best race was run when he was allowed to make the ranning. In the Derby he was kept behind, wliile pulling hard, and that was what beat hi-n.
