SEVERE EARTHQUAKE.
NEAR PANAMA CANAL. (Received Last Night, 10.20 o'clock.) COLON, October 2. A severe earthquake at Colon, in Colombia, damaged the houses.—.Thousands of people rushed' into the streets panic-stricken. No Eves were lost. [Colon is a town situated on the Atlantic extremity of the Panama railway and Panama Canal, and is 47 miles northward of Panama.]
