MATTER OF RECOGNITION. 'Times' — 'Sydney Sun' Special Cablet. (Received Oct. 2, 8.30 a.m.) PEKIN, Oct. 1. The. question o ftho recognition of the Chinese Republic is being discussed by the Diplomatic Corps. The feeling is general among the leading Powers that the tv.no has arrived to recognise the Government, but recognition will possibly bo withheld unless China promises immediate attention to the reasonable settlement of outstanding foreign qTiestions.
