APPLICATIONS FOR RELIEF
*Time»' — 'Sydney Sun' Special Cables. (Received Last Night, 6.40 o'clock.) LONDON, October 2. A hundred thousand people are starving in Dublin. Mr H. D. Mcintosh, the well-known Australian, has donated £IOO to the Daily Mail Citizen's Relief Fund. He has also cabled to the Hon. W. A. Hoi man, South Wales AttorneyGeneral, suggesting that Australians might contribute to the fund. The fund has now reached £4377.
