MINISTERIAL VISITS.
About twenty Parliamentarians, in-, oluding the Prime Minister and two other Ministers of the Crown, will pay 1 a visit to Palmerston North to-day. The visit has- been arranged by Mr D. Buick, M.P., to enable Ministers and members of the House to learn something of the potentialities as well as the requirements of the .Manawatw distriot. In tin's connection, it : .-seems, to us that Masterton might with advantage follow the example set by Palmerston Jforth. '■ We have hot had an official visit from the Hon.. W. F. Mjassey since he became Prime -Minister. Nor hawe we taken any steps to impress outside members of Parliament wvh the magnificent re<*eurces of this district. We would sugges* to Mr Sykes that he endeavour to secure the co-operation of the Chamber of Commerce and the Borough Cotmcil in extending an invitation to the Prime Minister and members of the House to visit us on a week-end during the coming. .month.
