"THE GEISHA."
. FINAL REHEARSAL. The final full-dress rehearsal of "The. Geisha" was held last night, and was a complete success, and from the excellent performance given by the principals, orchestra, and chorus* those who intend being present at the Town Hall to-night may fully anticir pate - an excellent evening's.', enjoy* ment. That the amateurs have, work--ed hard during the pasi few months is plainly., evinced j and judging by the. swing with which the rehearsal was carried' /through, past performances by the Mastejrton Operatic Society bid- fair to be eclipsed; The scenery arrangements and stage effects have been in the hands of a capable committee, and would do credit to professionals, the general effect being most pleasing and beautiful, and adding considerably to the success which is practically assured for the production of "The Geisha." /
