ANOTHER BODY IDENTIFIED.
EXPERT OPINION,
(Received September 5, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 4.
it is officially stated that Sir Arthur Douglas, the ex-New Zealander injured in the Aisgill railway disaster, is still in the Carlisle infirmary, and that he shows slight improvement. The ninth body has been identified.
DIFFICULTIES IN THE WAY OF IDENTIFICATION.
MESSAGE FROM THE KING AND QUEEN.
(Received September 5, 12.45 p.m LONDON, Sept. 4.
Difficulties in the way of identification have led to confusion. A London girl named Lindsay was reported to be dead, but she did not travel by the train. Her father and sister were injured in the accident, the former being in a critical condition.
It is believed that Douglass, a valet, has perished. The King and Queen sent a message of; sympathy to the relatives of those .who lost their lives.
