MANGAONE OIL WELLS.
PROSPECTS CONSIDERED BRIGHT. The Mangaone oil well is down to 2550 feet. Petroleum gas is continuously met with. On being, lit one day last week, the flaime rose to a height of 30 feet. The bore has passed through a hard rock formation —the most important during the operations. The prospects of striking oil are considered to be exceedingly bright.
