Conference in Wellington, it was decided to form an Agricultural Council, and the following were elected a first executive:— North 'lsland: Messrs A. Conway (Miuaawatu), J. {J. Rutherford (Auckland). W. Perry (Masterton), B. C. s Lyaaght (sgmont), A. H. RusSell .(Hawke's Bay), and J. G. Wilson (8u115)... • South Island: Messrs J. D. Hall ■gtnd D. D. Macfarlane (Canterbury),' A. S. Orbell (Otago), W. D. Hunt (Southland), John Studholme (Ashburtop),. and H. D. Vavasour (Marlborough)- 'Mr Vavasour was not vpresent at the conference, and if he; is unwilling or (unable to act on the executive Mr Withell,' of South Canterbury, will b&' appointed. •Mr J, G. Wilson mentioned that it had been suggested at tha meeting of the oommittee that if possible meetings might be called, for November ■> at Christchurch, and June at Pahnerston North.
