A MISSIONARY DROWNED. - * ' SYDNEY, July 17. Island news to hahd states that the Rev. Charles Sage, of the Melanesian Mission at Solomon Islands, was drowned on June 7th through the capsize of the mission launch in a squall. . The deceased was a native of Vic toria, and was ordained at Norfolk Island in April last. ' He had previously been engaged for fifteen years in mission work in Melanesia and elsewhere. •
