DAYLIGHT SAVING.
Mr T. K. Sidey, tho member for Caver sham, has given notice of his intention to again introduce his Day light Saving Bill chm session. He has come early, a$ the drapers would say, to avoid the crush. Wa are afraid, however, that with the important policy measures that are to bo brought down, daylight-saving will hare to be deferred for another season. The putting on the hands of the clock in summer, and the putting of them back in the winter would be a simple enough process in itself. The difficulty, however, would be in inducing other countries to follow our example. Unless Australia, for instance, wqra to adopt & sicnilar course, no end of inconvenience would be caused. Moreover, there would be trouble over evening entertainments. If these were i commenced in daylight they would be impossible. If they were begun in. the dark, it would bo past midnight, according to the clocks, when theatre patrons reached their homes. .
