IN THE NORTHERN TERRITORY. A NEW ZEA LANDER'S PURCHASE. (Received Last Night, 8.30 o'clock.) SYDNEY,' June G. jNlr J. E. Davenport, of Lyttelton, New Zealand, has purchased, through Messrs Dalgety and Co., an area of 10.735 fiquaro miles of grazing country ijti the Northern Territory, paying £IOO,OOO deposit. It is reported that subsequently lie received an offer, whereby, he would have cleared £40,000 on the transaction.
