TO-DAY'S GAMES. Rugby enthusiasts will have two senior games to claim their attention to-day. At Carterton tho local team meets Red Stars, when a great battle lor supremacy should result. Stars will be without one or two of their leading players, but nevertheless a good strong team will take the field. Carterton will lie fully represented, and a splendidly-contested game may ho looked forward to. Mr E. McKeuzio will bo the referee. At Gladstone, United, who last Saturday defeated Red Stars, will be up against Gladstone. The,litter team are just at present playing at their very best, and may be looked upon a s likely to give Unted a very livelv time.
In the junior grade, the chief gurie will bo that between Carterton and Red Star. The latter are so far unbeaten, and may be depended upon to vigorously guard their position. The following team will represent Gladstone in the match against United this afternoon : Mason (3), Thompson Strang, Burke, Hickson, Johnson' (2), McLaren (2), Henderson (2), Spaekman, Hodge.; emergencies, Yickerslaff, Gr.uit, Huffy.
