MARCONI SHARES.
MASTER OF ELIBANK EXAMINED. (Received Last Night 9 o'clock.) LONDON, Juno 6. Before the Marconi Committee, Mr Solomon, on behalf of Mr Finnor, stockbroker, gave evidence to the effect that the Master of Elibank purchased shares on April 18th at 3i, in addition to those ho bought through Sir Rufus Isaaecs.
This statement caused a sensation. The Master of Elibank later purchased five hundred at 2 7-16.
Mr L. S .Amery, Unionist M.P. for Birmingham, aroused a stormy scene by accusing Liberals of endeavouring to screen Ministers.
