There was a large attendance, ami the totalisator investments amount ed to £11,252, as against £9959 for the corresponding day la>st .war. Tawhiti Handicap.—lneuru 1, Grattan 2, Tetikura 3. Scratched—Rector Girl.' Won comfortably by two lengths.' Time, lmin 16 1-5-sec. Railway Handicap—Kaniki 1, Field Force 2, St Serf 3. Scratched—Silver Rose. Won by half a length, lime lmin 16 l-ssec. Ladies' Purse ■ Handicap.—Royal Patron 1, Grandee 2, Glen Tulloch 3.
