EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE
The New Zealand 1 Loan and Mercantile Agency Coy., Ltd., report:— We had only a small entry of sheep and cattle 'at JCketalntna yesterday, but these met with good competition, and ...with the exception, of one pen we made a total clearance. Forward lambs made 9s 7d, small do. 7s 3d, cull ewes 4s 3d, dairy eow.s £3 10s to £4 15s. Messrs Dalgety and Co. report on their Eketahuna .sale as follows: A fairly good entry of sheep came forward, and considering the extremely rough day, prices, realised were highly satisfactory. A gtod clearance, resulted at the following'/ prices lambs 65,, Id to 6s Cd, medium lambs to 7s 9d, good lambs to 10s, 2-tooth wethers ]4s 4d to 14s Gd, empty ewes IGi 9d. Cattle: Small weaners 275, 18-month steers £3.
