FATAL ACCIDENT.
MAN BURIED BY A FALL OF : V-< ' earth, . (By. jTelegraph. — Brest Association .) HAMILTON, Last Night. A labourer '.named Kirkby, single, aged about 27, was killed by a fall of earth at Leslie's Gully, where, excavation work was progressing, this afternoon. It appears that he was backing a cart into tins- face, when a two-ton fall occurred, burying the unfortunate man. .He was quickly dug out, but it was found that a stone had struck him en the temiple, and he died a few minutes afterwards.
