ATTEMPT ON HIS LIFE,

this morning 12.25 o'clock.) MADRID, April 15. Alegra, who attempted to assassinate King Alplionso, was thrice rejected for military .service, on the ground that lie was subject to epileptic fits. . King Alfonso, describing the attack says he saw tlie man coming armed with, a revolver and fire. "I rode at him," continued the King, "and he tried to seize the reins, and fired again, the flash singeing my glove, while tihe ball grazed the horse. 1 then wheeled the horse, which knocked the man over with its siliouldrer. As the policeman sprang upon him, th third sluot was fired from the ground, and whistled overhead."
