Demand f0& increased WAGES. (Received Last Night., 10.25 o'clock.) LONDON, April 15. Mr Hill, secretary of the Boilermakers'. Union, reports the efforts made to obtain an advance in wages. The employers, in reply, complained of attending football matched ? 'and funerals, which resulted in a of 18.8 per cent, in wages. Many-workers are averaging £3OO annually. . •* r " The -employers added that every advance had been rendered absurd by ill-conduct and bad time-keeping.
