RIOTS IN PORTUGAL.

GANGS AT LARGE. NEWSPAPER OFFICE WRECKED. (Received this morning 12.20 o'clock.) LISBON, April 15. Carbonarios attacked the offices of the newspaper Democracia Covilha, and smashed all the machinery and type. An armed band entered a hou.se in Lisbon,., wounding a maii, wife and two -da.ughte.rs. Another gang of carbonarios raided a club and stole £4OO, and caused a great riot. The leader was arrested and produced documents .showing that tho gang .was authorised to act as spies and assist the authorities. He added that, the money had disappeared.
