Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on theiT Taratahi sale as follows: A fairly good entry of sheep and a medium entry of cattle were offered to a small attendance of buyers. Considering the very rough day we had a very satisfactory sale. Lambs were in good demand, and prices realised show a good increase on recent sales reports. Cattle also met with better competition than at last sale. The following is a list of prices: Small shorn lamns 5s 5d to 5s 7d, medium shorn lambs to 7s, f.m. ewes 8s to 8s Bd, s.m. ewes to lis 6d, 15-month empty heifers £2 15s, do. steers £3 2s, empty cows £3 to £3 ss, sound dairy cow* £5, heifers at drop to £5 12 6d.
