■CONDITION OF SKEATS. [By Tdc'jr'ipri—i'ress Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night. The condition of Skeat-s, who was severely injured in a shooting affray yesterday shows slight improvement. All the bullets have been located by the X-Eays, and an operation will he performed to-morrow morning to extract the bullet from his head. Han11a is progressing very well. The revolver used in connection with the affray was found on the roadside near the *c.ei>o of the 'shooting. Crago, who is alleged to have committed the shooting, was brought before the Court to-day, charged with attempted murder, arid remanded till Thursday. No application was made for hail.
