MONTHLY MEKTfNG.. The monthly meeting of the Masterton Trust Lands Tru",i ivas held in the Trust offices last evening, there being present—He««rs E. ErrJir.grr. (chairman), W. H. Jackson. A. \V. Hoarar. C. E, Dat'kll, 0. N. C. Piayiiolf.'T. B. Michcll. An apology for a bailee was received from Mr H. 0. Robin-on. The New Zealand Investme.nii Company, Wellington, wrot" calling attention to the "Pollution of Water" Bill, and asking for the co-operation of the Trust- i'i opposing the same. Tt was deeded that the .matte" be left in the hands of the Building Committee with power to act. The Inspector of Mach'i.iery wrnt". inquiring whether the automatic ■starter had been nffiwi to the gas engine at the Town Hall. The Town Hall Committee reported that-tenders had been called for the work, and thp feirlpr of Mr J. C. Ewington of £8 15s had been accepted . Mr ■George Saker wrote, asking for extra assistance for his son, to enable 'him to continue his studies at the. University. Messrs Robinson and Hand-Newton wrote, applying for the consent of the Tnrstee.s to H. : W: Jack-son .mortgaging Irs interest in lea.sp part section 29. S.F.B. to the W.F.O. Association It was decided that the application be granted. Messrs Moran and Lowrv anplied for the coiiiisent of thp Trust to Ah Lop sub-leasing part T.A. section 72 to Messrs Long and Cotter.
It was resolVed that the application be granted. Mr A. R. Bunny wrote anplv'ng for the consent of the Trustee* to M. A. Andrews sub-lending part T.A. section 121. to A. McKairi. —Granted. The Treasurer's reprrt. showing a debit balance of £606 7s P'd, wn« read a.nrl adopted. The reports of the Build'ing, Hall, Finance and Leasing Committees were read and adopted. Accounts amounting to £7S3' 15s lid were passed for payment.
