AN EXPLANATION.
By a slip of the pen, we made it appear in our issue of yesterday, that , the tirade of abuse that is being levelled at the Hon. F. M. B. Fisher, was from the Wellington Ministerial journal. We hasten to apologise. It is the would-be Ministerial journal that is so viciously assailing the Minister of Customs. In its issue of yesterday it pursues the attack with renewed vigour. In the meantime, the Hon. jf. M. B. Fisher and his colleagues are attending to the affairs of the country. The revenues are buoyant, confidence is being restored, and the people are devoting themselves more ardently than ever to the development of the country's resources. When one reads of the Dominion going to the eternal "bow-wows," he smiles, and asks himself what it is all about.
