MESSAGE FROM ADRIANOPLE. SURR E N DER IMPOSSIB LE. TURKISH GENERAL'S THREAT. (Received Last Night, 11.30 o'clock.) VIENNA, February 10. Tho Neuo Freie Presse's Constanti-nople-correspondent reports that Chukri Pasha sent a wireless message when he heard of the contemplated neutralisation of Adrianople, stating that ho would sooner sacrifice his last man than surrender one of the strongest fortress in the world. "If," ho said, "further resistance is useless, I will'take care to put 40,000 Bulgarians living here out of tho way. I will confide the women and children to tho care of the Foreign Consuls, and turn the guns on all the Bulgarians, and then convert Adrianople into one gigantic rubbish heap. A SHARP ENGAGEMENT. TURKS DRIVEN BACK. (Received Last Night, 11.30 o'clock.) SOFIA, February 10. A sharp engagement occurred at Bulair. The Bulgarians drove the Turks back to tho forts. The Turks attempted to descend to Charkeni, near the neck of the Gallipoli Peninsula, where tho Bulgarians frustrated the landing of twenty shiploads of Turkis'h troops. Tho Turks lost fifty killed in attempting to land at Podima, to the north of Istrandja. The inhabitants of Adrianople are fleeing from one quarter to another, seeking shelter from tlie shells.

(Received Last Night, 11.30 o'clock.) CETTINJE, February 10. There was heavy fighting outside Skutari on Friday night and Saturday. General Martinovitch reached the wire entanglements leading from the Turkish entrench men ts. At Tarabcsch the fighting was resumed along the whole front. At sunrise on Sunday the Montenegrins made three assaults on Dardangloi. inflicting considerable losses. Both sides maintained their positions.
