What a "lofty" opinion you have, Mr Editor, of women's intelligence! You also urge the presorvnjtion of our education system, which has stood the test for thirty-five yea is. Has not the Rimutakn. 111HW sticd toe test also, but does ti follow it is the correct system? What silly reasoning?—l am, etc.. DO UNTO THE CHILDREN AS YOU WOULD BE DONE BY. Masterton, January 24, 1913. [The fact that it has been considered necessary to call a public' meeting to explain matters, is convincing proof that the League dees not consider the public sufficiently informed upon the subject. There is just a slight difference between the Rirautaka railway an<l the Bible-in-I Schools. The R.imutaka railway offers [the only means of getting to Welling-i-ton by rail. The State school is not the only available place for teaching the Bible. The Bible was read in schools before the present secular i system was adopted in New Zealand, jand the public was glad to restore it [to its proper place—the Church, a,nd I the &n ; l>l>ath.Schpo;l...There wns, nsfv licht-line. or other ra.ih\\iv. before t' ir> Rimutaka was con.«st-n»cfc«»d.
