MASTERTON SHOW
There is a very keen enquiry from all parts of the district for copies of the schedule for the Masterton A. and P. Association's show, to bo held at Solway on uesday and Wednesday, February ISth and 19th. The Masterton show is now claimed as on< of the premier live-stock .shows oi the' Dominion, and the fact that there has been a demand from Argentine and outside countries, as well as from Australia, tor the progeny of prizetaking stock at this show, is striking evidence in support of this claim. Breeders cannot well afford to miss the splendid advertisement they will receive from successful competition at Masterton. The train services are well-arranged, and the *tnck is landed right on to the shcw-irround, whore there are numerous and horse-stalls, andjin abundance of running water and fodder, to say nothing of sleeping accommodation for the men in charge. Exhibitors at the Masterton show have also an opportunity of testing the market at one of the biggest ram fair? in the Dominion, which is held on the two days succeeding the .show. Entries close on Monday, February 3rd. with the. Secretary (Mr J. B. Emmett.)
